中国法治备忘录——2007年中国法治亮点巡礼

2007年,是中国法治建设又好又快发展的一年，也是法治中国与和谐社会交相辉映的一年。特别值得指出的是，党的十七大报告对中国特色社会主义法治建设作了全面的部署，明确提出了“全面落实依法治国基本方略，加快建设社会主义法治国家”的要求。

Memorandum on Rule of Law in China-- Review of Major Developments in Rule of Law Promotion in China in 2007

The year 2007 was not only a period of great and rapid development of the rule of law in China, but was also a year in which the drive to turn China into a cotmtry with the rule of law and the endeavor to develop a harmonious socialist society in China were supporting and enhancing each other. What is particularly worth being mentioned here is that in a keynote report delivered at the 17^Th National Congress of the Commtmist Party of China （CPC） held in Beijing in mid-October, CPC General Secretary Hu Jintao mapped out a plan for the development of the socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics in an all-round way, and explicitly put forward the requirement for ＂full-scale implementation of the basic general plan of realizing the governance of China by law, and acceleration of the process of building China into a cotmtry with the socialist rule of law.＂
