Difficulty of Self-Writing --A Critique of the Narration of QIU Huadong''''s Novels

In the narrative discourse of Qiu Huadong's novels, there is a noticeable existence, self-writing, which represents the establishment of the writer's subjectivity and the overthrowing of the collective discourse. QIU Hua dong, however, has a misunderstanding and misapplication of self-writing. By analyzing the plots, languages and characters of Qiu's novels, this paper points out that his novels overemphasized self-writing and abandoned the exploration of the art of novels and therefore deviated from the aesthetic criterion of novel writing and that all the above resulted in the difficulty of creation in Qiu Huadong's novels.
