五四时期新女性的悲剧命运评析--以张嗣婧为例

文章以五四时期新女性张嗣婧的悲剧命运为例,通过对时代话语的解读,建筑张嗣婧之死所隐含的深刻的社会性别制度根源。由于女性解放运动被国家民族意识所冲谈,使得五四时期女权运动的发展受到某种限制,社会性别制度的变化也是有限的。然而张嗣婧的死所引起的广泛的思考,对于传统社会性别制度的改变起到重要的作用。

The Tragic Fate of the Modern Women in the May 4 Movement Period--As Illustrated by Zhang Si-jing''''s Example

Taking the tragic fate of the modern woman Zhang Si-jing of the May 4 Movement period as an example and through interpretation of the epochal speech, this essay locates the deep gender-system root underlying Zhang Si-jing's death. The watering down of the feminist movement by national consciousness subjected the feminist movement in the May 4 Movement period to certain restrictions and the gender system to limited changes. The death of Zhang Si-jing, however, gave people ample food for thought, and, therefore, played an important part in effecting changes in the traditional gender system.
