中西科学思维形式比较(下)——整体思维与形式思维

中西科学思维形式比较主要从科学思维形式不同方面进行研究,把中国与西方进行比较。中国与西方从共同的科学原始思维发展出两种不同的科学基本思维形式,形成鲜明的对比,前者是整体思维或相关思维,而后者是形式思维或逻辑思维;但这并不是说,两者是完全分离的,不相容的。经历史考察表明,这两种思维形式不仅由同一源泉——整体表象发展而来,而且在后来的发展中并未真的截然分开,而现在的发展似乎还表现出某种相互融合。

The comparison of the scientific thinking form between Chinese and the western is mainly carried out from the differences between the scientific thinking form.Compared the form of Chinese with that of the western,the bright contrast appeared,the former is holistic thinking or relative thinking,while the latter belongs to formal thinking or logical thinking,which does not mean that they are completely detached and incompatible.The historical research shows that the two forms of thinking not only come from the same source——overall appearance,and in later development,they also appear some mutual confluence.
