| Abstract: | The thesis, viewing from three aspects, analyzes the relationship between the contradiction of the non-government laws and its transmutation when the judges at the local levels deal with civil disputes with its focus on the function of the non-government laws in rural communities, the reasons why the judges in the above-mentioned courts cope with the disputes by quoting such laws; and finally the existent process and ways in dealing with the disputes when such laws are employed. |
