| Abstract: | Context,an important theory in pragmatics,is the key to understand language.It has explanatory function.In translation the choice of words really depends on the context.Such factors as linguistic knowledge,background knowledge,situational language and mutual knowledge must be taken into consideration in the course of translation. |
