论“民本政治”观与“民主政治”观的历史形成

中国古代的民本政治思想发端于商周时期,在秦汉以后的中国封建社会仍然是重要的官方意识.民主政治观念产生于15至16世纪的西欧,是适应从农业社会向工业社会转型的社会变化的需要而出现的一种政治观念.中国传统的民本政治思想虽有其历史价值,然而,"民本政治"毕竟不同于"民主政治".
