论语言理解中“听”的优先性

Priority Given to Listening in Understanding Language

Language is one of the basic modes of man＇s existence, while listening is the basic factor of language production. So it is necessary to think deeply about the significance of listening in thinking about language. Listening is not only passive reception of language conveyance but also a component part of language. In a sense, listening constitutes room for expansion of language and thinking. Therefore, listening has priority significance, which we must be faced with when thinking in language.
