Governance Structure, Operating Mechanism, Relationship with the Government: The Analysis of Effectiveness about Nonprofit Organization

The governance and operating mechanisms of nonprofit organizations, as well as their relationships with the government, are very important for their development. The industry and trade association is a kind of nonprofit organization. By analyzing the case of Yiwu Toys Association in Zhejiang Province, this paper investigates nonprofit organizations in terms of their governance, operating mechanisms, and relationships with the government, using the theory of institutional change and cooperation - game theory. The paper also studies the effectiveness of nonprofit organizations in order to put forward some policy suggestions, so as to facilitate and regulate the development of industry and trade associations, to build scientific governance and flexible operating mechanisms, to set up cooperation- game relationships with the government and so on.
