| Abstract: | Based on field research, this paper case-studies Tanglang people and Laopin people, ethnic groups with small populations, analyzing the linguistic ecological environment, the interaction of the ecological variables and dynamic changes. It makes this study a helpful reference for the protection of linguistic diversity, the maintenance of ecological balance and the building of bi-lingual or multi-lingual ethnic communities. |
