论西南苗疆历史地理概念的形成与演变

在中国历史的长河中,随着国家和社会的发展,国人的视野逐渐由腹里扩及边疆。于是,边疆民族地区的历史地理概念逐渐形成。西南苗疆作为中国民族区域的一个重要组成部分。境内因国家和地区政治经济的发展形成了以苗、侗、土家等多民族聚居的格局。在多民族分布格局的形成过程中,国家社会因历史、社会、民族的发展与差异,西南苗疆经历了从"三苗"、西南夷(蛮)到诸苗的历史称谓、从"藩属疆索"到"苗疆"的地理名称的演变,到清代最终形成了西南苗疆的历史地理概念。

On The Formation and Evolution of The Concept Of Historical Geography About Southwest "Miao Territory"

In the Long River of Chinese History,Chinese people’s vision gradually had expanded from the abdomen to the frontier with the development of the country and society. which resulted in the Concept of Historical Geography of Minority Border Areas being formed gradually. "Miao Territory" is an Important Component of China’s Ethnic Regions, where takes in Miao, Dong, Tujia minority groups because of political and economic. In the formation of multi-ethnic distribution patterns, "Miao Territory" went through a historical process of evolution about from "Crusade Sanmiao", "Southwest Barbarian" to "Miao Miao" and from "vassal state in border district" to "Miao territory". which had formed the concept of historical geography in southwest "Miao Territory" finally in the Qing Dynasty.
