严复家乡青年眼中的西学第一人

为了纪念严复诞辰150周年,了解青年眼中的严复,我们对福建师范大学的本科生和研究生进行了一项调查。调查表明,严复在青年大学生中知名度较高,多数青年大学生能较为准确的把握住对严复的历史定位,但对于严复作为近代启蒙思想家的历史文化内涵理解还不够深刻,对严复文化遗产的关注不足。笔者还对宣传严复和保护严复历史文化遗产提出了若干建议。

How Do YAN Fu''''s Hometown Youth View Him As a Pioneer in Western Learning

In memory of 150th anniversary of YAN Fu's birthday and to learn about the YAN Fu in the eyes of the youth,the writews conducted a survey among undergraduates and graduates of Fujian Normal University.The survey shows that YAN Fu enjoys high popularity among young college sthdents,most of the students can correctly grasp the historic evaluation to him. However,there is still lack of understanding of YAN Fu as a modern enlightenment thinker and lack of attention to YAN Fu's cultural relics.The writer also make some proposals to the publicity of YAN Fu and the protection of YAN Fu's historic and cultural relics.
