公平、正义是构建社会主义和谐社会的关键环节,而公安机关作为维护公平、正义的主力军,其作用尤为突出。在构建和谐社会的过程中公安机关维护公平、正义要做到:一、以公平、正义为价值尺度,坚持依法行政,强化行政执法监督;二、以公平、正义为基本要求,充分发挥公安机关的职能作用,维护社会稳定;三、以公平、正义为终极目标,坚持执法为民,切实提高执法质量。
