20世纪70年代开始的＂第三波民主化＂浪潮席卷全球,许多发展中国家在这过程中建立了民主政治体制。而经济实力强大的跨国公司向发展中国家扩张的行为,无疑是这股浪潮背后重要的推动因素之一。跨国公司之所以向发展中国家输出民主,是因为跨国公司和作为其东道国的发展中国家是一种交易关系,交易过程中存在着巨大的交易成本。而民主政治制度可以有效地降低跨国公司的交易成本。

Analysis of Trading Cost of Transnational Corporations' Exporting Democracy to Developing Countries

The ＇Third Wave of Democracy＇ has swept across the world since 1970＇s and during this period many developing counties established their political institutions of democracy.The transnational corporations with strong economic powers expanded to the developing countries,which undoubtedly formed a main motive force behind this wave.Now that there is a trading relation between the transnational corporations and the host countries——developing countries and there exists an enormous trading cost in the process of trading,the transnational corporations would like to export democracy to the developing countries.The political institutions of democracy can effectively reduce the trading cost of the transnational corporations.
