| 摘 要： | 西部地区经济发展滞后的主要原因是其所拥有的地缘困境。要改变这种地缘困境,重要的是找到促进地缘要素变化的主要中间变量。在其他条件不变的情况下,交通、通信和教育是推动地缘要素变化的主要的中间变量。发展交通、通信和教育是西部地区变地缘困境为地缘优势的关键所在。

| Abstract: | The chief cause of the lagging-behind of economic development in western areas lies in the difficult situation due to their geographic frontier locations.To change this situation,the chief intermediary variable quantity leading to the change of the factors composing geographic frontier location should be found out.Under the circumstance that other factors remain unchanged,transportation,communications and education become the chief intermediary variable quantities leading to the change of factors composing geographic frontier location.Therefore the development of transportation,communication and education turns out to be the key for western areas to change the difficult situation caused by their geographic frontier locations to advantages brought out by their geographic frontier locations. |
