The Needham Problem and Intellectual Property Law

The nature of "the Needham Problem"is to explore the difference of the motives of the science technical process which brought about the rise of the western countries and the decline of China. The author believes that the intellectual property law can provide the key to the question in that the presence of intellectual property law in the western world and the absence of it in China makes a big difference in the development of economy. Attention to "the Needham Problem"and the research of it can shed some light on the current economic and legal construction of China.
