历史上的河北烟毒与禁政

自烟毒在河北泛滥成灾后，它就成为危害河北的一个非常严重的社会问题，解放前历届政府均曾厉行禁政，但烟毒问题一直没有得到彻底解决。中华人民共和国建立初期，在短短三年时间里，就从源头上基本解决了旧中国历届政府所无法解决的烟毒泛滥问题，树立了“无毒省”的形象。

Hebei Province's Tobacco and Drugs and the Banning Measures in History

Since tobacco and drugs ran rampantly in Hebei, it had become an extremely serious social problem, and caused huge harm to Hebei＇ s politics, economy and people＇s life. Though all previous governments in Hebei Province actualized a series of policies to ban tobacco and drugs, because of their social class and historical limitation, until the PRC had been established, it had not been thoroughly settled. In the early days of the founding of the PRC, Hebei Government led a great fighting against tobacco and drugs. She thoroughly settled the problem which was not settled by other governments and set up the public image of nondrug province in only three years.
