| 摘 要： | China has made tremendous efforts to alleviate poverty and to eventually eliminate it. As it is recognized worldwide, poverty constitutes a challenge to the international community. China, on its part, has won global acclaim for the achievements it has made in poverty alleviation. To provide interested readers with information of the hows and whys, our staff reporter interviewed Hu Fuguo, Vice-Director of the State Council Steering Group in Charge of Poverty Alleviation through Development.
