Information Gap: The Challenge and Opportunity in the Course of Modernization in China

Rapidly developing sciences and technologies are becoming the new impetus to creating wealth. The increasing gap of information indicates that there exist big differences between developed and developing countries and that inevitably enlarges the wealth imbalance between southern and northern countries. On terms of the large setting of information, the gap between China and developed countries is becoming larger and larger. So from the view point of our state and industrial development, the key issue is to establish crisis consciousness and meet the challenge.
