The Interpretation of Time and the Related Comparison Made between China and Western Countries in Their Traditional Context

The philosophy of time is the fundamental issue in both Chinese and Western philosophical traditions.The notion of time can well explain some theoretical issues in the philosophy of time. The formular of time in this case can be categorized, one approach of which is to divided time into physical time, human time, and psychological time. Different countries have different notions of time. A careful analysis of the traditional ideas of time between China and Western countries will shed much light on their respective uniqueness in the intepretation of time and will be conducive to the further understanding of China's time orientation in its traditional philosophy.
