Green Revolution on Red Soil

Changting is located in the west of Fujian Province, south of Wuyi Mountains, in southeast China. It covers an area of 3,099 square km, 85 percent of which is moun-tains, and it has historically been the county in Fujian most severely affected by soil erosion.
