| Abstract: | A simple presumptive test for the comparison of soil samples, namely the high performance liquid chromatographic comparison of the acetonitrile extract of soil, appears promising. Soils taken from different areas had different chromatograms. Soil taken from the same area had similar chromatograms. The chromatographic profile of one soil sample remained constant over a period of seven weeks. |
