当前,中国沿边地区正在掀起新一轮开发开放的浪潮。广西既沿海又沿边,地处中国与东盟合作的最前沿,在全国沿边地区新一轮开发开放中将打造东盟合作高地;广西边境线是中国的"黄金边境线",在建设21世纪海上丝绸之路和沿边开发开放中具有重要战略地位。沿边地区开发开放新浪潮将给广西与台湾拓展合作新空间带来新良机,桂台可在跨境旅游、口岸经济、沿边金融综合改革试验区建设、跨境经济合作区建设、开拓东盟市场、互联互通建设等方面拓展合作新领域新空间,实现互利共赢发展,把桂台合作提升到一个新水平。

New Opportunity of Border Areas Creates New Cooperation Space for Guangxi and Taiwan

At present,the China’s border area is engaged in a new round of opening-up and development., Guangxi is not only located in the coastal area but also border area,where could be built as the forefront and a new highland for cooperation between China and ASEAN;the border area of Guangxi could be called ＂golden border line＂,which has an important strategic position in the construction of the marine Silk Road in the 21st century as well as development and opening-up of border area. The new opening-up development in border areas will bring new opportunities and cooperation spaces to the cooperation between China and Taiwan. Therefore,China and Taiwan should have cooperation in the field of cross border tourism,port economy,construction of experimental zone for comprehensive financial reform in the border area,construction of cross-border economic cooperation zones,market exploration in ASEAN,and construction of interconnectivity in order to reach the mutual interest and development,thus,promoting the cooperation between Guangxi and Taiwan to a new level.
