改革开放以来青田人的跨国迁移活动及海外青田人对青田的影响

青田县是浙江省乃至中国著名的侨乡。如果从17世纪末算起,青田人的跨国迁移活动已有300多年的历史。300多年来,青田人移民海外经历了几次高潮。然而,直到20世纪80年代中国实行改革开放政策后,青田人的跨国迁移活动才真正被纳入国际移民的体系之中。目前,有21万青田人分布在120个国家和地区,其中80%分布在欧洲。出国已成为青田人脱贫致富的一条途径。海外青田人在青田的发展中发挥着越来越重要的作用,成为青田发展的一个重要资源。本文主要概述改革开放以来青田人的跨国迁移活动,分析海外青田人对青田经济发展、社会进步以及对外交往等方面所产生的积极影响,并对这种影响进行评述。

The Transnational Migration Movement of Qingtianese since the Reform and Opening - up Policy and its Impacts on Qingtian County

Qingtian is a hometown of the overseas Chinese, famous in Zhejiang Province and around China. The Qingtianese began their transnational migration movement in the late 17 century, with a history of more than 300 years consisting of several migration upsurges . However, it was until 1980's, when China implemented its reform and opening - up policy, that it became one part of international migration. At present there are 210, 000 Qingtianese distributing over 120 countries and regions with 80% in Europe. Migration has become a way for the Qingtianese to shake off their poverty and build up a fortune. The overseas Qingtianese have become an important resource and played an increasingly important role in Qingtian's development. This article is mainly an overview of the transnational migration movement of the Qingtianese since 1980's, with a focus of its positive influence on Qingtian's economic development, society progress and foreign relations.
