German Public Diplomacy towards China: with theDeutschland und China: Gemeinsam in Bewegung as an Example

This paper first analyzes the history of German public diplomacy and its main features.Through an empirical analysis of the series of activities on Deutschland und China: Gemeinsam in Bewegung,a typically proactive public diplomacy practice,it provides a comprehensive picture of the German practice on public diplomacy towards China,especially its strategy,organizational model,institutional settings,actors,main implementation approaches and other aspects worthy of learning.
