纵观我国五千多年的文化传统,一直居于正统地位的儒家文化在诸多方面与“八荣八耻”有很多切合之处,传统荣辱观是构成社会主义荣辱观的内在文化根源,而以“八荣八耻”为主要内容的社会主义荣辱观,则汲取了中国传统文化精髓,是在新的历史条件对中国传统道德观、价值观的传承、发展和超越。
