| Institution: | ROBERT P. McGOWAN is an Associate Professor and past chair of the Department of Management in the Graduate School of Business and Public Management at the University of Denver. He has worked in private industry, U. S. Department of Commerce, Illinois Department of Transportation and is currently teaching and doing research in the strategic management of technology. His publications have appeared in the Academy of Manogement Journal, Public Administration Review, Policy Studies Review, Public Productivity Review and he is coauthor of Information Systems and Public Management;(with John M. Stevens). EDWARD OTTENSMEYER (Ph. D., Indiana University) is Assistant Professor of Management at Clark University, Worcester, Massachusetts. His recent research has focused on strategic issue management systems, on strategy development in not-for-profit organizations, and on the management of technological innovation. |
