| Abstract: | The philosophy of Zhuangzi contains valuable ideological resources fit for modrn civilization, which merit the attention of the present-day people in their striving for modernization. They mainly include the following aspects: the spirit of freedom and equality, the advocacy of individuality, the stress on harmony, freedom from the control of material wealth, ecological wisdom, the return to nature, generosity, and criticism. |
