| Abstract: | This Notice announces that, until further notice the Department of Health and Human Services will no longer accept applications for repayment of all or part of educational loans from former nursing students who failed to complete a course of study leading to a diploma in nursing, an associate degree in nursing, a bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent degree, or a graduate degree in nursing, as authorized under section 836j] of the PHS Act. This decision is based on the fact that Federal funds are not available for the repayment of these loans. |
