My Impression of China

Marvin Z:My suggestion to future Beijing visitors is to visit the Summer Palace in late afternoon on a weekday, when you can pretty much have the huge park to yourself. Then the quiet beauty and elegance of the gardens will grab you, and allow inspired pictures to be taken. Shooting Velvia on a cloudy/rainy day in those Chinese parks can yield an extremely high percentage of keepers. This applies to those imperial gardens/parks in other Chinese cities as well.
