An Exploration into the Originality and Contribution of Vico's Jurisprudence

In accordance with Vico's theory,on one hand,he studies on the features of natural law in tribes,rooting in the ethnical common nature so as to seek evidence of customs evolvement.On the other hand,he differs customs from law in the philosophical perspective of natural law.This is his particular methodology—integration of concept and practice;history and theory.Vico applies the "wisdom of imagination" to the discussion of law's origin issues,which has contributed in an original way to Western jurisprudence theory.
