| Abstract: | Novel coronavirus disease(COVID-19)is globally pandemic with great infectivity and long incubation period.It brings great challenge to the practice of forensic science.In this paper,we discussed how to avoid infection during the daily work of forensic psychiatry under the influence of the COVID-19 epidemic,the characteristics of organic and/or functional mental injury/disability caused by COVID-19 and its evaluation,as well as the prevention and forensic identification of the potential medical tangle caused by COVID-19 in mental health institutions.The aim of this paper is to promote the risk awareness of the infection and potential medical disputes for the the forensic institutions,experts and mental health institutions,and to facilitate the prevention of infection and self-protection during daily work according to the epidemic status. |
