当今世界,文化已经成为综合国力的重要组成部分,文化建设是增强综合国力的重要途径。中共十六届六中全会提出:“建设和谐文化是构建社会主义和谐社会的重要任务,社会主义核心价值体系是和谐文化建设的根本。”社会主义核心价值体系的构建,不仅对维护国家统一、保持民族团结、促进社会和谐、增强我国的综合国力有着不可替代的重要作用,而且对抵御和抗衡西方社会价值体系的渗透和影响,维护国家的文化安全起着根本的保障作用。

Culture has been an important part of comprehensive strength since culture construction is a vital approach to enhance comprehensive strength in the world.The Sixth Meeting of The Sixteenth Centre Committee of The CPC Congress demands: "building harmonious culture is the main task to construct socialistic harmonious society and socialistic core value system is fundamental to building harmonious culture".Building socialistic core value system, it not only plays an irreplaceable role to unify the country,keep ethnical unity,promote harmonious society and enhance Chinese comprehensive strength,but also plays a key role to resist and vie with western culture infiltration and influence,protect national culture security.
