Review on Jin Sheng-tan's Novel Theory of Narrative Angle

Previous studies stress on the similarity of Jin Sheng-tan's novel theory of narrative angle to the west narrative theory.In fact,there is great difference between them.Jin advocates that narrative angle varies from the author to the character,and from one character to another.He also emphasizes that narrative sense transforms from sense of hearing to that of sight.There is no contradiction between omniscience and limited science in Jin's novel theory.Jin Sheng-tan's novel theory of narrative angle pursues the aesthetic effect of transformation,subjectivity and implication while the west narrative theory praises the narrative objectivity highly.
