Upholding development as the task of primary importance that our Party should perform is the best continuation and creative development of Marxism. Only by doing so, is it possible for the Communists to give a full expression to their advanced nature and to the spirit of the times, to achieve the consolidation of socialism and its continued prosperity among the fierce international competition. The key to thoroughly understanding and upholding the fundamental principle lies in the persistence of the firmness, creativity, objectivity and standardization of development. At the same time, we must always consciously strengthen and improve the human resources building, since human resources are the precondition for and the basis of boosting economic and social development.
