异与同:翻译的困惑

Similarity and dissimilarity is a hot potato that one has to handle in doing translation with a cultural view.In practice,a translator should assume an attitude that admits cultural comparison to be an objective dynamic process,subject to the interaction of cultures,and thus wisely choose his/her translation strategies.As for translation studies,a translation theorist should correctly handle traditional translation theories and western theories,pay much attention to the interaction of the theories and avoid too much emphasis on nationalistic elements.
