Affiliation: | Ph.D. in Economics from Rutgers University in 1975. She is currently Assistant Professor of Economics at St. John's University in New York City. Her fields of interest include the economics of health services, public program evaluation and the incentives generated by public assistance programs. Dr. Englander is currently researching the behavior of individuals who file benefit appeals in several income maintenance programs.;Ph.D. in Economics from Rutgers University in 1975. He teaches a t Fairleigh Dickinson University in Rutherford, NJ as an Associate Professor of Economics. He is a member of the editorial board of the Public Administration Quarterly. His fields of interest include the economics of crime, education, and antipoverty programs. His current research focuses on th e administration of public assistance programs, p ublic employment service and the Unemployment Insurance system. |
