| Abstract: | This paper reviews the status quo of ESP course teaching under the background of college English reform, and then explains the objectives of practical teaching: accelerating the reform process of ESP course and improving the students' ability in using English. In accordance with ESP course teaching situation in Guangdong Police College, we try to find a new model to reform the current teaching system of ESP course through the adjustment of teaching method, teaching content and testing requirement. |
