Moral Responsibility:The Normative and Virtue Dimensions

The definition of a person's moral responsibility involves two indispensable aspects,i.e.,its normative and virtue dimensions. In the contemporary public life characterized by pluralism,however,the moral responsibility is thought to be determined by the normative dimension rather than the virtue one. But the trend of de-loftiness of morality in the contemporary society is far from being regarded as a reason for ignoring virtue cultivation.
