New Development in Basic Social Contradiction Theory

In his "Three Representations" and related ideas, Jiang Zemin fully makes it clear that our primary task now is to develop productive forces, thus pointing out the correct direction in handling basic social contradictions. The three key links that should be handled are the self-im- provement of the ruling Party, the reform and progress in science and technology. His ideas pro- vide the answers to such questions as how to emancipating and developing productive forces, and they enrich Marxist theory on basic social contractions.
