| 摘 要： | 孟子一方面把普遍性的"恻隐之心"与特殊性的"事亲从兄"分别界定为"仁义礼智"的"端"与"实",并肯定了二者间的互动转化,试图在君子"心性"中为仁义礼智奠定一个统一的基础;另一方面又依据传统儒家的基本精神,把"事亲从兄"说成是君子"心性"的至高无上的惟一本根,并由此否定了"心性之端"与"心性之实"之间的互动转化,结果陷入了难以消解的深度悖论。

| Abstract: | On one hand,Mencius regards the "heart of compassion for anyone" and "serving one's parents and obeying one's elder brothers" respectively as the "beginning" and "substance" of the "heart-nature" and confirms mutual interactive conversion and tries to lay a unified foundation for the heart-nature;on the other hand,he takes consanguineous affection alone as the sole and supreme root of the "heart-nature" according to the Confucian spirit and thus negates this interactive conversion,thereby falling into a profound paradox that is difficult to resolve. |
