交通管理专业作为创建国家示范性高等职业院校的重点建设专业，在专业人才培养模式、师资团队建设、课程体系重构、教学方法改革、教学资源共享、服务行业及社会方面取得了明显效果，但也存在着一些问题。专业建设的理念与目标更要符合行业需求。要进一步巩固和完善人才培养模式，加强和改进师资队伍建设，加强和深化专业课程建设，推进和深化教学方法和评价体系改革，做实、做强实践教学保障。
