This paper, from the approach of motif, discusses the taboo motif from the stories of young men and young women of snake incarnation, and gives a cultural interpretation of their manifestations. There is a stable relationship and mutual benefits between the original totem taboo customs and those in reality. Totem taboo customs in later days reveal the uncompromising conflicts between man and nature. The evident representations of these conflicts lie with the established taboos for different kinds of species and the breaking of taboos by human being.
