摘    要:"成长阶段"理论是信息系统学科中除系统理论外的另一重要基础理论.它通过将信息系统的规划、应用和发展分成多个阶段来确认组织内信息技术的成熟性.当前,有不少"成长阶段"理论模型仍被广泛应用.其中,Sutherland和Galliers于1989年提出的新"成长阶段"理论模型,与其他模型相比,不仅从组织7大要素方面更加详细阐述了组织如何将自身信息技术的发展定位在某个阶段,更重要的是,它能指导IT管理者将组织内信息技术的发展提高到更成熟的阶段.我们可以应用新"成长阶段"理论模型分析中华女子学院山东分院信息技术的发展历程和当前所处阶段,从而对今后如何进一步发展信息技术,使之上升到更加成熟的阶段做出详细论述.

Abstract:Stages of growth' theory is one of the fundamental theories in Information Systems(IS) discipline together with system theory.It illustrates the level of maturity of Information Technology(IT) within an organization through identifying in which stages that organization may position itself.A few 'stages of growth' models have been developed and utilized.The revised 'stages of growth' model developed by Sutherland and Galliers in 1989 is the most popular one.It differs from other models that the seven key elements which are called the seven 'S's are included to examine comprehensively how the organization is to position itself in terms of IT.In addition, this model also describes what is needed to be done to progress IT to the more mature stages.We applied the revised 'stages of growth' model to analyze the IT development of Women's Academy at Shandong and identify the stage of IT development within the institution in terms of the seven 'S's.It also provided recommendations aimed at progressing IT of the institution to the more mature stages.
