Messner of Crime and the American Dream (3d ed., Wadsworth, 2001) and has written extensively on the social sources of violent crime. His current research focuses on explaining crime trends in the United States. Professor Rosenfeld is a member of the National Academy of Sciences' Committee on Law and Justice and a Fellow of the American Society of Criminology. |
