我国社会公德的现代建构

公德与私德的区分源于公域与私域的分离。传统中国公德缺失主要在于专制制度的摧残、道德体系的不健全、政治思想的落后、科学知识的缺乏和以家庭为主的自给自足的小农经济等大量存在五个方面的原因。现代社会的公民道德建设包括公德、私德两方面,但公德建设更为根本,它与当代中国公域的逐步发育相伴随。

On the Modern Construction of Public Morality in the Chinese Society

The difference between public morality and private virtue lies in the separation of public sphere and private sphere.The absence of traditional Chinese public morality is mainly due to autocracy,unsoundness of moral system,backwardness of political thoughts,lack of scientific knowledge and limitation of the self-sufficient household economy of farmers.The civil virtues in modern society includes public morality and private virtue,but public morality is of more importance.In this author's opinion,public morality should be improved along with the extension of the public sphere.
