自尊需求与“台湾人认同”

本文从社会认同论的视角研究“台湾人认同”,认为“台湾人认同”是为了满足台湾民众提升自尊的要求,对于凝聚社会共识、建构社会认同具有积极意义.另一方面,“台湾人”的自尊是通过与“大陆人”(或“中国人”)的社会比较而实现的,因而必然出现“内群偏好”与“外群敌意”,形成一些刻板印象与偏见,而且已经对两岸关系的和平发展造成一些障碍和不利影响,因此有必要加以深入的研究.

The Demand of Self-Esteem and the "Identity of Taiwanese"

This paper makes a careful study of the "Identity of Taiwanese" from the perspective of the social theory of identity,claiming that the idea of the "Identity of Taiwanese" that people have is nothing but to satisfy the needs of the promotion of self-esteem of people in Taiwan,which is of positive significance to the crystallization of social consensus and the construction of social identity.On the other hand,as the esteem of "Taiwanese" is formed through the comparison with "people of mainland" or "Chinese",there inevitably have the ideas of "In-group Preference" and "Out-group Hostile" that have already led to some stereotyped impressions and prejudices,and what’s more,have proved to be an obstacle to and of negative impact on the Cross-Strait peaceful development.Therefore it is quite necessary for us to probe into this issue.
