The Development Path for the New- style Urbanization of Western Regions in Our Country

The new -style urbanization in rapid development is becoming a powerful engine for the economic growth and social development of China. To accelerate the new - style urbanization of western regions in our country, we should, ac- cording to the unique geographic location, natural environment and socioeconomic development status of these re- gions, choose the urbanization paths suitable for the characteristics of these regions from such aspects as popula- tion transfer, industrial development, community construction, and ecological civilization, so as to push the entire society to the road of civilization development toward growing production, prosperity and good ecology.
