Government Performance Management Rationality and Retrospective

As the pace of life runs increasingly faster,governments today must be more responsive,flexible and skillful.As the result of this trend,a new government performance management model which focuses on the pursuit of efficiency surfaced.This article studies government performance management both theoretically and practically.After emphasizing the performance rationale of the government and reflecting on several cases,the article discusses their implications for the government reform in China.
