摘    要:作为世界第二大经济强国的日本以及"亚洲四小龙"之一的韩国都把信息产业的发展作为21世纪经济增长的重要基点,并希望通过信息产业的带动实现经济的新一轮增长。对此,日、韩继续发扬教育先行、科技立国的传统,进一步加强并改善人力资源开发,以促进这一战略构想的实现。几年来,其成绩不菲,但不足尚存,前景仍难估测。

Abstract:Japan, as the second power of economy in the world and Korea, as one of the "Four Tigers" are similar in taking the development of informational industry as a key point to lead economic growth in the 21st century, and purport to succeed in new round of great economic growth by means of the information-led growth pattern. Japan and Korea thus continue to promote the tradition of education as first step and science and technology as the kernel stone of state. They also further strengthen and innovate human resource development in order to realize such a strategic scheme. In recent years, the achievement by the two countries is great, but the shortcomings are also obvious. It is difficult now to give an accurate evaluation on their outlook.
